Foothill Farms's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Quinn Lowry was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 25th minute, one of Genoa CFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Genoa CFC. If Bradley Bolton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sheldon Proctor kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. 33 minutes into the match, Foothill Farms's goalkeeper Monty Delarosa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Thaddeus Crocker. Glenn Tobin kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Foothill Farms's Sheldon Proctor couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 46th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Genoa CFC. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Genoa CFC's goalkeeper Leon Ruff, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 81 minutes into the match, Foothill Farms's goal looked a bit too open when Quinn Lowry came free, but Monty Delarosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Genoa CFC's Glenn Tobin was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Monty Delarosa in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Monty Delarosa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bradley Bolton's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. The audience was convinced that Bradley Bolton's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Monty Delarosa was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. Bradley Bolton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Monty Delarosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bradley Bolton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Quinn Lowry fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Monty Delarosa having to interfere.
