After having played for 47 minutes, Gilbert Kent managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Irmo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gilbert Kent was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

With a little luck, İNCİRLİK ADANA FC's Willy Burgess got control of the ball when Gilbert Kent tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bryan Arnold struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Willy Burgess didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Irmo FC. Willy Burgess stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bryan Arnold's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. Irmo FC's Royce Hawthorne played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raymond Morgan in the 71st minute of play. Irmo FC's Gilbert Kent got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 74th minute, Joel Cardwell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Bryan Arnold had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gilbert Kent's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 83rdth minute, Willy Burgess skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. A long shot from Tad Conley in the 87th minute of play was well struck, but Willy Burgess made a really good save at the right post.
