Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Bryan Geiger started the match with the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Bryan Arnold managed to get in a good position for a shot. Irmo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Bryan Arnold was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marty Michel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind CastleFord's goalkeeper Marty Michel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 5th minute, Gilbert Kent got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gilbert Kent received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Marty Michel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marty Michel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bryan Arnold, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Bryan Arnold struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Marty Michel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Irmo FC. 16 minutes into the match, Gilbert Kent notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of CastleFord's Marty Michel. Marty Michel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ryan Matlock sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 25th minute, Anthony Reynolds hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 31st minute, Ryan Matlock made a precise shot to the right of Royce Hawthorne. Irmo FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind CastleFord's goalkeeper Marty Michel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Marty Michel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bryan Arnold, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Bryan Arnold made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to CastleFord getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Erik Rivers hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Bryan Arnold's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marty Michel was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. In the 57th minute, Erik Rivers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gilbert Kent hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Byron Wesley lost his temper 73 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Irmo FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 72nd minute. Penalty! CastleFord's Marty Michel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilbert Kent in the 78th minute of play. With an all-out effort, CastleFord's Royce Hawthorne threw himself towards the right post 82 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Bryan Geiger, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Gilbert Kent sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bryan Arnold hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. When Rene Paquette came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the CastleFord fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rene Paquette couldn't finish the play. After 91 played minutes Irmo FC got a freekick which was hit by Anthony Reynolds. Royce Hawthorne made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Ryan Matlock sent off a good shot on target. 95 minutes into the match, Gilbert Kent had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marty Michel. CastleFord's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gilbert Kent was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-2.
