Spectators: 7553 (Terracing: 5704, Seating: 1749, VIP seats: 100) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Rusty Carter took the kick off in the first half of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Kelly Erickson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jamul FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Kelly Erickson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Heriberto Kaufman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 9th minute Rusty Carter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Neil Maher saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Bob Groves came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Jamul FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bob Groves couldn't finish the play. Tuan Beard blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Neil Maher having to make a save. After 16 minutes, Bob Groves made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Blazers FC's Heriberto Kaufman tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Heriberto Kaufman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bob Groves's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. Blazers FC's Heriberto Kaufman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bob Groves in the 23rd minute of play. Kelly Erickson struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Heriberto Kaufman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jamul FC. 28 minutes into the match, Jamul FC's Bob Groves sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Heriberto Kaufman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With an all-out effort, Blazers FC's Neil Maher threw himself towards the right post 30 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Tuan Beard, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 33rd minute, Bob Groves got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kelly Erickson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bob Groves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Myles Klein sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 45th minute, Bob Groves ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Heriberto Kaufman was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bob Groves was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Jamul FC's Pete Edmondson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Heriberto Kaufman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Myles Klein could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Heriberto Kaufman made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Bob Groves put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Heriberto Kaufman. After a rather tough play, Jamul FC's Bob Groves got a free kick in the 70th minute. Neil Maher showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rusty Carter in the 73rd minute of the match. Bob Groves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Heriberto Kaufman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jamul FC:s Neil Maher showed great skill when he stopped Brian Hyatt:s penalty. In the 83rd minute, Bob Groves got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nathanial Goodson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jamul FC's Bob Groves got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Heriberto Kaufman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nathanial Goodson, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. With a little luck, Blazers FC's Heriberto Kaufman got control of the ball when Bob Groves tried to sneak it across the goal line. 91 minutes into the game, Jamul FC's Bo Brady nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Heriberto Kaufman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-4. In the 94th minute, Brady Blackburn got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bob Groves blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Heriberto Kaufman having to make a save. Antony Sams kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. When the final whistle sounded Jamul FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Blazers FC.
