Through an outstanding action, after 26 minutes, Duncan Salas successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Arsenal's Duncan Salas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Arsenal from getting a goal against them. Robby Wesley recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edgardo Ferris's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Duncan Salas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. Cole Soto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Wesley Layton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sammy Cardenas to make the kick off. The supporters of Arsenal booed when Clifton Heights was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robby Wesley didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 54thth minute of the game Sammy Cardenas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Clifton Heights's Wesley Layton was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Adalberto Potter fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Arsenal's protests and gave Adalberto Potter a yellow card for diving instead. In the 55th match minute, Arsenal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adalberto Potter to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sammy Cardenas in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wesley Layton prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Duncan Salas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vincenzo Croft, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Clifton Heights's goalkeeper Wesley Layton, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Arsenal's zone, Vincenzo Croft stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Duncan Salas came out of the goal and Vincenzo Croft tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Edgardo Ferris received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Duncan Salas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sammy Cardenas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Jefferson Reece hit a great ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Arsenal players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Clifton Heights.
