Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Sid Koenig started the match with the kick off. Ward Carpenter made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Cole Soto sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sammy Cardenas in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ward Carpenter saved Tan Grande Como El Cielo from getting behind. Cole Soto took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ward Carpenter. Ward Carpenter dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. After having played for 25 minutes, Cole Soto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arsenal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cole Soto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sammy Cardenas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ward Carpenter having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Sammy Cardenas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ward Carpenter was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. With his leg Ward Carpenter managed to avoid a goal in the 41stth minute, when Arsenal's Cole Soto fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ward Carpenter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sammy Cardenas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Sammy Cardenas came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Arsenal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sammy Cardenas couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as Arsenal's Sammy Cardenas slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ward Carpenter. That made the score 2-0 after 46 minutes of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sammy Cardenas was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 61 minutes, Cole Soto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arsenal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cole Soto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Sammy Cardenas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ward Carpenter was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. Tan Grande Como El Cielo's Ward Carpenter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sammy Cardenas in the 74th minute of play. Cole Soto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ward Carpenter read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. In the 87th minute Sid Koenig shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Duncan Salas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 94 minutes into the match, Arsenal's goal looked a bit too open when Sid Koenig came free, but Duncan Salas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sammy Cardenas in the 96th minute of play forced Tan Grande Como El Cielo's goalkeeper Ward Carpenter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arsenal's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
