The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 10 minutes into the game, West Gate's Keenan Cottrell nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alfredo Cortez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 13 minutes into the match, West Gate's goalkeeper Damien Levy had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sergio Robertson. Sergio Robertson in the 15thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Damien Levy, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 27th minute Keenan Cottrell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredo Cortez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to San Bernardino Broncos getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Jacob Cavazos hit a great ball. The supporters of West Gate booed when San Bernardino Broncos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jayson Alston didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in San Bernardino Broncos's zone, Ferdinand Langford stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfredo Cortez came out of the goal and Ferdinand Langford tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, West Gate's Elton Frey got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Grant Echols fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Cortez having to interfere. After 47 played minutes West Gate got a freekick which was hit by Elton Frey.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Keenan Cottrell to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, West Gate's goal looked a bit too open when Sergio Robertson came free, but Damien Levy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 58 minutes into the game, Keenan Cottrell was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. West Gate's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave San Bernardino Broncos the free kick. San Bernardino Broncos's Alfredo Cortez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save San Bernardino Broncos from getting a goal against them. In the 63rd minute, West Gate's Keenan Cottrell ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Alfredo Cortez. Alfredo Cortez yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. In the 72nd minute Sergio Robertson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damien Levy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 74 minutes of play West Gate's Elton Frey was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Elton Frey kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Alfredo Cortez made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Diego Rubin sent off a good shot on target. Damien Levy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sergio Robertson in the 83rd minute of the match. Sergio Robertson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Grant Echols blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alfredo Cortez having to make a save. Grant Echols received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Alfredo Cortez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, West Gate's Grant Echols got a free kick in the 94th minute. Chants of West Gate echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as San Bernardino Broncos had held the ball for most of the match.
