Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jonathan Connelly kicked off to start the match. Jonathan Connelly received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Ricardo Sadler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Alexandria FC's Ricardo Sadler got control of the ball when Stuart Pham tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 12thth minute of the game Jonathan Connelly who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Alexandria FC's Ricardo Sadler was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Alexandria FC's Jesse Burns got a free kick in the 13th minute. If Monty Carroll had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ricardo Sadler made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stuart Pham in the 26th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Stuart Pham got free with Ricardo Sadler in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Stuart Pham sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 47 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Alexandria FC! After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for George Blum to strike the kick off in the second half. Stuart Pham recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 56 played minutes Alexandria FC got a freekick which was hit by Claudio Knutson. Alexandria FC's Ricardo Sadler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonathan Connelly in the 58th minute of play. 60 minutes into the match, Yardley FC's goalkeeper Johnathan Mooney had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Monty Carroll. George Blum fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Johnathan Mooney having to interfere. Johnathan Mooney made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from George Blum in the 71st minute of play. Jonathan Connelly recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 76thth minute of the game Stuart Pham who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Alexandria FC's Ricardo Sadler was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ricardo Sadler stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jonathan Connelly's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cobi McElroy in the 80th minute of play forced Alexandria FC's goalkeeper Ricardo Sadler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A hard shot 81 in the game by Monty Carroll from a close distance when the talented Johnathan Mooney managed to make a qualified save. Yardley FC's players were relieved. If Jonathan Connelly had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stuart Pham in the 89th minute of play forced Alexandria FC's goalkeeper Ricardo Sadler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
