Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when George Blum got the match started through his kick off. With a little luck, Alexandria FC's Ricardo Sadler got control of the ball when Anson Ham tried to sneak it across the goal line. George Blum hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. 7 minutes into the match, Alexandria FC's goalkeeper Ricardo Sadler had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ernie Mullen. The audience thought a goal was coming when Will Campbell got free with Ricardo Sadler in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ricardo Sadler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Will Campbell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Hazel Green FC fans' excitement grew in the 12th match minute when Hazel Green FC's Will Campbell looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 15 minutes into the match, Alexandria FC's goalkeeper Ricardo Sadler had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Will Campbell. After 22 minutes, George Blum mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Alexandria FC and the Hazel Green FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 22nd match minute, Alexandria FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by George Blum to maneuver through the defense. After 24 played minutes Alexandria FC got a freekick which was hit by Miguel McPherson. With a little luck, Alexandria FC's Ricardo Sadler got control of the ball when Leonard Quintero tried to sneak it across the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, Alexandria FC's goal looked a bit too open when Will Campbell came free, but Ricardo Sadler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ricardo Sadler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernie Mullen in the 35th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Jonah Vogt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hazel Green FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jonah Vogt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ricardo Sadler breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ricardo Sadler made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ernie Mullen in the 38th minute. Ernie Mullen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Ricardo Sadler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ricardo Sadler was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonah Vogt in the 56th minute of play forced Alexandria FC's goalkeeper Ricardo Sadler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 57th minute Ernie Mullen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Sadler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Young Barr made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Monty Carroll sent off a good shot on target. Ricardo Sadler came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Hazel Green FC's Anson Ham. But to his dismay, Anson Ham quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Alexandria FC's Ricardo Sadler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonard Quintero in the 68th minute of play. George Blum was shown his second yellow card after 68 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 69 played minutes Alexandria FC got a freekick which was hit by George Blum. Ernie Mullen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Sadler having to interfere. In the 74th minute Alec MacDowell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Sadler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Jermaine Bonilla fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alexandria FC's protests and gave Jermaine Bonilla a yellow card for diving instead. After 75 played minutes Alexandria FC got a freekick which was hit by Jermaine Bonilla. 77 minutes into the match, Alexandria FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ernie Mullen came free, but Ricardo Sadler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 80th minute, Owen Swift hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Will Campbell in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ricardo Sadler saved Alexandria FC from getting behind. A collision led to Hazel Green FC getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Anson Ham hit a great ball. If Will Campbell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Will Campbell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a long run with the ball, Tyson Sandoval did a trick in the 97th minute in front of Alexandria FC's goalkeeper, who threw himself to the side. After that it was simple to shoot 4-0. An impressive performance by Hazel Green FC's Tyson Sandoval! There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Hazel Green FC fully deserved thier win.
