Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Andreas Busby kicked off to start the match. After 3 played minutes Ohioville FC got a freekick which was hit by Rickey Brooks. After a rather tough play, Ohioville FC's Houston Hoyt got a free kick in the 4th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Len Tobin in the 6th minute of play forced Ohioville FC's goalkeeper Shane Newell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Myles Albert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andreas Busby in the 12th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in East Wenatchee FC's zone, Rickey Brooks stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Myles Albert came out of the goal and Rickey Brooks tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 28th minute of the match Emerson Hampton shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Shane Newell showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Andreas Busby charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Andreas Busby the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Ohioville FC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Andreas Busby hit a great ball. When Drew Bond came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the East Wenatchee FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Drew Bond couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rickey Brooks during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 34th minute, Rickey Brooks hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 35 minutes into the match, Ohioville FC's goal looked a bit too open when Len Tobin came free, but Shane Newell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Shane Newell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Len Tobin in the 38th minute of play. Andreas Busby blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Myles Albert having to make a save. Len Tobin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Shane Newell having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Drew Bond stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Andreas Busby had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Andreas Busby in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Myles Albert prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Houston Hoyt struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Myles Albert didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ohioville FC. 67 minutes into the game, Matt McCauley was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. East Wenatchee FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ohioville FC the free kick. Matt McCauley hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. If Houston Hoyt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 72nd minute Houston Hoyt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Myles Albert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 76 minutes of play, Ohioville FC's Andreas Busby made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Myles Albert was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 82nd minute of the match East Wenatchee FC got a corner. Ohioville FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gilbert Combs ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on East Wenatchee FC's corner Gilbert Combs fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Shane Newell quite easily take care of the ball. In the 87th minute, Drew Bond got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 93rd minute, Drew Bond left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The East Wenatchee FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. The East Wenatchee FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing East Wenatchee FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
