The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Jospeh McRae had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. A very good chance. 17 minutes into the match, Burlingame FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jospeh McRae came free, but Roy Fry reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Basil Villegas hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Roy Fry showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Garret Roberson, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Garret Roberson in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roy Fry prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 23 minutes into the match, Burlingame FC's goal looked a bit too open when Garret Roberson came free, but Roy Fry reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Burlingame FC's Roy Fry played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Garret Roberson in the 24th minute of play. In the 25th minute, Jospeh McRae got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of McGregor booed when Burlingame FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Basil Villegas didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 27 minutes, Jospeh McRae made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Burlingame FC's Roy Fry tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Roy Fry showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jospeh McRae, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. After having played for 68 minutes, Garret Roberson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. McGregor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Garret Roberson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nathanial Escobar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Nathanial Escobar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 78th minute Bo Calloway shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Garret Skinner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, McGregor's Bob Ashley got a free kick in the 81st minute. Burlingame FC's Basil Villegas suffered a concussion after 96 minutes and had to leave the field. Salvador Deering's late challenge caught a Burlingame FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Salvador Deering helped the player get up and apologised. Salvador Deering hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Bo Calloway sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The McGregor players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
