Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Nigel Arredondo took the kick off in the first half of the match. Basil Villegas kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Glen Lentz in the 7th minute of play forced Burlingame FC's goalkeeper Roy Fry to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 11 minutes into the match, Glen Lentz notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Burlingame FC's Roy Fry. Roy Fry was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Glen Lentz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roy Fry having to interfere. Nigel Arredondo struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Mike Key didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Burlingame FC. After a defensive mix-up in Alvin AFC's zone, Bo Calloway stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mike Key came out of the goal and Bo Calloway tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 29th minute of the match Winfred Bynum shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mike Key showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Alvin AFC's Mike Key proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Alvin AFC from getting a goal against them. Alvin AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 36th minute, when Nigel Arredondo scored to the left of an out of position Mike Key, making the score, 1-1. After a rather tough play, Alvin AFC's Nathanial Barker got a free kick in the 41st minute. Travis Hawley's late challenge caught a Burlingame FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Travis Hawley helped the player get up and apologised. Travis Hawley kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Roy Fry made an important save on a dangerous shot by Travis Hawley in the 51st minute. Glen Lentz was extremely unlucky when he, in the 61st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Glen Lentz in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roy Fry prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Bo Calloway came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Burlingame FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bo Calloway couldn't finish the play. Roy Fry stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Glen Lentz's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. Roy Fry made an important save on a dangerous shot by Travis Hawley in the 69th minute. Nathanial Barker's late challenge caught a Burlingame FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nathanial Barker helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Alvin AFC getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Nathanial Barker hit a great ball. 77 minutes into the match, Alvin AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Nigel Arredondo came free, but Mike Key reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Travis Hawley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Burlingame FC booed when Alvin AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Philip Wolff didn't get a good kick on the ball. Burlingame FC's Nigel Arredondo got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bo Calloway in the 83rd minute of play forced Alvin AFC's goalkeeper Mike Key to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mike Key showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Winfred Bynum in the 86th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Travis Hawley kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Roy Fry. That made the score 1-2 in the 90 minute of play. Travis Hawley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roy Fry having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Alvin AFC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
