If Rudy Cooley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bo Calloway in the 8thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Milton Huber, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 12 minutes into the match, Burlingame FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rudy Cooley came free, but Roy Fry reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Milton Huber didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Burlingame FC's Nigel Arredondo shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-0 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 21st minute, Burlingame FC's Nigel Arredondo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Milton Huber. Milton Huber yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Roy Fry showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Foster Light, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Milton Huber stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nigel Arredondo's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. If Nigel Arredondo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Owen Hamilton who after having made a long run got a chance for a shot on goal. Despite a couple of nice moves Roy Fry's wasn't to be fooled and made an easy save when Owen Hamilton was beeing forced to shoot. Foster Light sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rudy Cooley in the 46th minute of play forced Burlingame FC's goalkeeper Roy Fry to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nigel Arredondo was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute of the match Burlingame FC got a corner. Reynoldsburg's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Winfred Bynum ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Winfred Bynum got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Milton Huber quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 54th minute Nigel Arredondo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Milton Huber saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bo Calloway recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bo Calloway in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Milton Huber prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Wayne Clayton kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. After having played for 66 minutes, Bo Calloway managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Burlingame FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bo Calloway was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Basil Villegas hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Saul Skaggs's late challenge caught a Reynoldsburg's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Saul Skaggs helped the player get up and apologised. 78 minutes into the match, Reynoldsburg's goal looked a bit too open when Bo Calloway came free, but Milton Huber reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Rudy Cooley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Milton Huber showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bo Calloway in the 83rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rudy Cooley in the 84th minute of play forced Burlingame FC's goalkeeper Roy Fry to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nigel Arredondo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Reynoldsburg's Milton Huber played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bo Calloway in the 91st minute of play. The supporters of Burlingame FC booed when Reynoldsburg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wayne Clayton didn't get a good kick on the ball.
