Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000,
Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Rashad Lundy started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Bradly Peterson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Travis Hawley in the 5th minute. Bradly Peterson was a little too slow when Cristopher Boyles got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 6th minute. The score was now 1-0. Travis Hawley kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Glen Lentz might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bradly Peterson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Glen Lentz ran back to his position shaking his head. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Glen Lentz put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Bradly Peterson. Mike Key came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Silver Spring FC's Rashad Lundy. But to his dismay, Rashad Lundy quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Glen Lentz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bradly Peterson having to interfere. 28 minutes into the game, Kenneth Pritchard was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Silver Spring FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Alvin AFC the free kick. In the 28th minute, Kenneth Pritchard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Silver Spring FC's Bradly Peterson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Glen Lentz in the 29th minute of play. Glen Lentz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bradly Peterson made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Travis Hawley sent off a good shot on target. Travis Hawley came free with the goalkeeper in the 33rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Bradly Peterson could save by the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Glen Lentz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alvin AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Glen Lentz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bradly Peterson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Glen Lentz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Silver Spring FC's Bradly Peterson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Glen Lentz in the 39th minute of play. Bradly Peterson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Glen Lentz in the 41st minute of play. In the 48th minute Glen Lentz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bradly Peterson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Glen Lentz made a kick off. In the 52ndth minute of the game Travis Hawley who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Silver Spring FC's Bradly Peterson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Glen Lentz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bradly Peterson having to interfere. Alvin AFC were awarded a corner in the 58th minute after Silver Spring FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Nathanial Barker took the corner. The corner led Alvin AFC's Nathanial Barker to fire away a dangerous shot which Bradly Peterson despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After some careless play in the Silver Spring FC defense, Glen Lentz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bradly Peterson. The Silver Spring FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bradly Peterson should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Alvin AFC booed when Silver Spring FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Genaro Coats didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bradly Peterson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Travis Hawley, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. After a rather tough play, Silver Spring FC's Genaro Coats got a free kick in the 68th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Glen Lentz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alvin AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Glen Lentz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bradly Peterson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Glen Lentz in the 77th minute of play forced Silver Spring FC's goalkeeper Bradly Peterson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 79th minute, Rashad Lundy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Glen Lentz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Travis Hawley in the 86th minute of play forced Silver Spring FC's goalkeeper Bradly Peterson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bradly Peterson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Glen Lentz in the 88th minute of the match. If Travis Hawley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rashad Lundy charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rashad Lundy the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Bradly Peterson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Glen Lentz in the 91st minute of play. Bradly Peterson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Glen Lentz in the 92nd minute of play. When the match had gone on for 94 minutes, Glen Lentz put it in 4-1 from a short distance just to the right of Bradly Peterson. Alvin AFC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
