Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Manchester City's Forrest Ferreira started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Son Peters made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Earl Costello sent off a good shot on target. Son Peters showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Earl Battle in the 7th minute of the match. With his leg Son Peters managed to avoid a goal in the 11thth minute, when Fritch FC's Earl Costello fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Earl Costello recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 19 minutes into the match, Manchester City's goal looked a bit too open when Earl Battle came free, but Son Peters reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 20th minute, Earl Costello left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fritch FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Fritch FC's Earl Costello got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Earl Battle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Son Peters tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Earl Battle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Manchester City's Son Peters played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Earl Battle in the 29th minute of play. When Dan Fortune fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fritch FC's protests and gave Dan Fortune a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Manchester City booed when Fritch FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dan Fortune didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Earl Costello got free with Son Peters in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 46th minute, Manchester City's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Earl Battle fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Earl Battle was the one to do the kick off. 57 minutes into the match, Manchester City's goal looked a bit too open when Earl Battle came free, but Son Peters reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Earl Costello fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Son Peters having to interfere. Edgardo Rosado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 71 minutes into the match, Manchester City's Devin Francis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Laurence Albert narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 72nd match minute, Fritch FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jed Schumacher to maneuver through the defense. Forrest Ferreira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laurence Albert having to interfere. With his leg Laurence Albert managed to avoid a goal in the 75thth minute, when Manchester City's Edgardo Rosado fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Forrest Ferreira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Fritch FC booed when Manchester City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jarrod Dugan didn't get a good kick on the ball. It was beautiful to see Fritch FC's Monty Holley in action when he in the 80th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! In the 84th minute, Edgardo Rosado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 86th minute Earl Costello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Son Peters saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Earl Battle scored 2-0 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Son Peters, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Son Peters stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Earl Costello's shot from short distance in the 98th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Fritch FC fully deserved thier win.
