Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Earl Battle got the match started through his kick off. Genaro Pace showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Earl Battle, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. 6 minutes into the game, Fritch FC's Earl Battle nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Genaro Pace made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. 9 minutes into the game, Dan Fortune was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fritch FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hammond the free kick. Dan Fortune hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Alejandro Zamora received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Laurence Albert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 17 minutes into the match, Hammond's goalkeeper Genaro Pace had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Earl Costello. Dan Fortune kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. After having played for 23 minutes, Alejandro Zamora managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hammond's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alejandro Zamora was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Earl Costello came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Fritch FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Earl Costello couldn't finish the play. Dan Fortune received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Genaro Pace tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Earl Battle might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Genaro Pace. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Earl Battle ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Hammond's zone, Earl Costello stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Genaro Pace came out of the goal and Earl Costello tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Genaro Pace didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Earl Costello went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Hammond's Genaro Pace played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Earl Costello in the 71st minute of play. Earl Battle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 81st minute, Jamar McCauley hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Earl Costello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Earl Costello received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Genaro Pace tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Fritch FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
