Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Yorkshire Fc's Jonathan Bernier started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Edgardo Rosados short, quick shot in the 6thth minute got Marc McCord to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 10 minutes had been played when some careless play by Yorkshire Fc's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Devin Francis was slow to take the kick. During this time Manchester City's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Devin Francis got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Marc McCord quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 18th minute of the match Manchester City got a corner. Yorkshire Fc's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Devin Francis ran over to the corner to take the kick. Marc McCord took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Forrest Ferreira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 22 played minutes Yorkshire Fc got a freekick which was hit by Darell Gutierrez. Edgardo Rosado's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 24thth minute, Marc McCord skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Ollie Webb had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Son Peters stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jonathan Bernier's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. Yorkshire Fc were awarded a corner in the 36th minute after Manchester City's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Len Zimmerman took the corner. Jonathan Bernier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Forrest Ferreira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Manchester City's supporters rose to their feet, but Forrest Ferreira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marc McCord breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marc McCord made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Forrest Ferreira in the 47th minute of play. 2-0 became the score in the 49th minute when Tim Maynard elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Forrest Ferreira made a kick off. Emilio Nixon's late challenge caught a Yorkshire Fc's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emilio Nixon helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Yorkshire Fc booed when Manchester City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emilio Nixon didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Forrest Ferreira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marc McCord was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. A collision led to Yorkshire Fc getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Ollie Webb hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgardo Rosado in the 61st minute of play forced Yorkshire Fc's goalkeeper Marc McCord to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Bernier's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Son Peters read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Manchester City's Travis Varela got a free kick in the 66th minute. In the 69th minute Jonathan Bernier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Son Peters saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Son Peters was out of position in the 74 minute of play, and Jonathan Bernier capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jonathan Bernier really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. Manchester City's Edgardo Rosado got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Forrest Ferreira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edgardo Rosado scored 3-1 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marc McCord, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Son Peters showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonathan Bernier, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. After having played for 92 minutes, Edgardo Rosado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Manchester City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edgardo Rosado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Manchester City's Forrest Ferreira in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Yorkshire Fc's goalie prevented a goal. Edgardo Rosado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 98th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 100thth minute of the game Forrest Ferreira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Yorkshire Fc's Marc McCord was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Manchester City fans cheered their team off the field, for while Yorkshire Fc had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
