Spectators: 6749 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1749, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Wilbert Aviles kicked off to start the match. In the 6th match minute, Ridgefield AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rolland Tripp to maneuver through the defense. Donovan Ramirez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilbert Aviles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 11 minutes of play, Rosedale AFC's Karl Swan made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jed Hough was left in no man's land by his defense there! 16 minutes into the game, Marcus Blake was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rosedale AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ridgefield AFC the free kick. The supporters of Ridgefield AFC booed when Rosedale AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcus Blake didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Wilbert Aviles fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ridgefield AFC's protests and gave Wilbert Aviles a yellow card for diving instead. Wilbert Aviles kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Zachery Akins kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Karl Swan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. After some careless play in the Ridgefield AFC defense, Alfonzo Ruth kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jed Hough. The Ridgefield AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jed Hough should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alfonzo Ruth in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jed Hough prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ridgefield AFC's Wilbert Aviles got his second yellow card of the match in the 29th minute. The referee ordered Wilbert Aviles off the ground. Wilbert Aviles hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Alfonzo Ruth blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jed Hough having to make a save. Jed Hough showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfonzo Ruth, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Karl Swan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jed Hough having to interfere. Karl Swan might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jed Hough. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Karl Swan ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ridgefield AFC's goalkeeper Jed Hough, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Alfonzo Ruth sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jed Hough showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl Swan in the 42nd minute of the match. Ridgefield AFC's Jed Hough proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Ridgefield AFC from getting a goal against them. Karl Swan succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-3 in the 66th playminute. Karl Swan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 70thth minute tested the skills of Jed Hough when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Rosedale AFC's Alfonzo Ruth in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Rosedale AFC played a much better game than Ridgefield AFC and deserved their victory. The Ridgefield AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
