Fulham's Rudy Langley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Seth Wagner in the 11th minute of play. If Johnnie Calhoun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fulham's supporters crossed their fingers, but Johnnie Calhoun was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Fulham's Enrique Witherspoon got a free kick in the 22nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Seth Wagner in the 26th minute of play forced Fulham's goalkeeper Rudy Langley to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Seth Wagner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 32nd minute, Emanuel Estes sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Fulham's Rudy Langley didn't even have to move. Andy Coulter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rudy Langley showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Seth Wagner in the 41st minute of the match. Seth Wagner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rudy Langley having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Seth Wagner was the one to do the kick off. After 62 played minutes, Aransas Pass's Emanuel Estes shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rudy Langley came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Aransas Pass reached it. In the 64th minute, Johnnie Calhoun ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hal Myrick was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 67th minute, Dale Ellis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 69th match minute, Aransas Pass was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pascal Gage to maneuver through the defense. Johnnie Calhoun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 77th minute, Dale Ellis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aransas Pass's Seth Wagner got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Andy Coulter who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 95thth minute tested the skills of Rudy Langley when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
