With a left leg Hal Myrick saved Aransas Pass from getting behind. Shannon Warren made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Andy Coulter sent off a good shot on target. Shannon Warren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pascal Gage in the 14th minute of the match. After 20 minutes, Thad Countess made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Aransas Pass's Hal Myrick tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Crazy Ducks's Mario Sapp in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Aransas Pass's goalie prevented a goal. Andy Coulter could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Shannon Warren made a huge save. Pascal Gage hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Thad Countess received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Hal Myrick tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 42nd minute Thad Countess shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hal Myrick saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Frankie Bernstein hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. In the 46th minute, Bryant Vaughan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. During the 49th minute of the match Bryant Vaughan completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Bryant Vaughan a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 49 played minutes Crazy Ducks got a freekick which was hit by Bryant Vaughan. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mario Sapp made a kick off. After having played for 61 minutes, Mario Sapp managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Crazy Ducks's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mario Sapp was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 64th minute of the match, Mario Sapp tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Hal Myrick saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Mario Sapp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Thad Roe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hal Myrick took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mario Sapp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thad Countess kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. In the 74th match minute, Crazy Ducks was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilbert Mullins to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Emanuel Estes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aransas Pass's supporters rose to their feet, but Emanuel Estes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Shannon Warren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience held their breath when Thad Countess in the 81st minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Hal Myrick's left hand side. Leroy Church's late challenge caught a Aransas Pass's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leroy Church helped the player get up and apologised. In the 84th minute, Leroy Church hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 86th minute of the match Emanuel Estes sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Shannon Warren skillfully saved the ball. Lane Goodrich hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Kent Cadena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hal Myrick having to interfere. 97 minutes in the game, Thad Countess fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Hal Myrick having to interfere. Thad Roe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 99th minute. Hal Myrick tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Crazy Ducks left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Aransas Pass.
