Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Rodger Reeder got the match started through his kick off. Bailey Farley took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodger Reeder, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 5 played minutes, Manning FC's Tony Hagen shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Sam Masters came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Manning FC reached it. Sam Masters showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roscoe Ashby in the 7th minute of the match. After 10 played minutes Rodger Reeder rounded Manning FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. In the 13th minute, Rodger Reeder got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Michael McGinnis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Roscoe Ashby had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rodger Reeder recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 26th match minute, Manning FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Charlie Darnell to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Sanatoga FC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Dan Akers hit a great ball. Sam Masters didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Roscoe Ashby went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Manning FC's Bailey Farley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodger Reeder in the 43rd minute of play. A collision led to Manning FC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Jeffrey Ramsey hit a great ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Manning FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. The supporters of Manning FC booed when Sanatoga FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. William Crow didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Michael McGinnis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sanatoga FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Michael McGinnis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bailey Farley breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Roscoe Ashby struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Sam Masters didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Manning FC. Miguel McBride received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Sam Masters tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Manning FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Sanatoga FC.
