When William Crow fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sanatoga FC's protests and gave William Crow a yellow card for diving instead. William Crow kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 19 minutes, Sam Masters successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After having played for 21 minutes, Michael McGinnis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sanatoga FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Michael McGinnis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sam Masters showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Deon Rocha, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Deon Rocha was extremely unlucky when he, in the 25th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Sammy Salter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodger Reeder, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half Sanatoga FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Charles Rhodes kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. In the 60thth minute of the game Deon Rocha who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sanatoga FC's Sam Masters was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Micah Dawkins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chivas FC's Sammy Salter proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Chivas FC from getting a goal against them. When Deon Rocha came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Chivas FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Deon Rocha couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Sanatoga FC booed when Chivas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rudy Sandoval didn't get a good kick on the ball. 78 minutes into the match, Sanatoga FC's goal looked a bit too open when Deon Rocha came free, but Sam Masters reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Michael McGinnis struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Sammy Salter didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sanatoga FC. Michael McGinnis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Michael McGinnis in the 87thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Sammy Salter, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 89 minutes into the match, Chivas FC's goalkeeper Sammy Salter had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Michael McGinnis. In the 93rd minute, Micah Dawkins got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rodger Reeder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sammy Salter having to interfere. When Michael McGinnis came up free with the goalie in the 98th minute, the Sanatoga FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Michael McGinnis couldn't finish the play. The Sanatoga FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
