Rico Giles recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rico Giles blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sam Masters having to make a save. DeAngelo Veltman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, DeAngelo Veltman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Irondequoit FC's supporters rose to their feet, but DeAngelo Veltman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sam Masters breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rico Giles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sam Masters having to interfere. In the 31st minute Rodger Reeder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rigoberto Judd saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rigoberto Judd made an important save on a dangerous shot by Michael McGinnis in the 36th minute. Rodger Reeder's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rigoberto Judd read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. William Crow's late challenge caught a Irondequoit FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. William Crow helped the player get up and apologised. In the 38th match minute, Sanatoga FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by William Crow to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Sanatoga FC booed when Irondequoit FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Johnson Branch didn't get a good kick on the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Michael McGinnis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Sanatoga FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Irondequoit FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
