Rudy Sandoval hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. 11 minutes into the match, Manning FC's goal looked a bit too open when Micah Dawkins came free, but Bailey Farley reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 13 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Chivas FC! Calvin Hartman placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Micah Dawkins's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bailey Farley read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. In the 26th minute, Deon Rocha left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chivas FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 34th match minute, Chivas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Deon Rocha to maneuver through the defense. Sammy Salter made an important save on a dangerous shot by Miguel McBride in the 35th minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Chivas FC's goalie and right to Jeffrey Ramsey. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Chivas FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Deon Rocha in the 44th minute of play forced Manning FC's goalkeeper Bailey Farley to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Roscoe Ashby was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Tony Hagen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bailey Farley acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 53rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Claude Feliciano. Rudy Sandoval received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Bailey Farley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Deon Rocha in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bailey Farley saved Manning FC from getting behind. In the 63rd match minute, Manning FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Charlie Darnell to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 67 minutes, Deon Rocha managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chivas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Deon Rocha was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tony Hagen hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Sammy Salter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miguel McBride, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. In the 75th match minute, Manning FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tony Hagen to maneuver through the defense. If Deon Rocha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 84th minute of the match Calvin Hartman shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sammy Salter showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Chivas FC's Sammy Salter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel McBride in the 85th minute of play. Miguel McBride received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Sammy Salter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rudy Sandoval struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Bailey Farley didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chivas FC. The Chivas FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
