In the 12th minute, Micah Dawkins ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gerry Guillory was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Micah Dawkins got free with Gerry Guillory in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Deon Rocha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Gerry Guillory tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Micah Dawkins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Chivas FC booed when SAJUCH FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leroy Savage didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by Claude Feliciano from long distance, 25 minutes into the match, got Gerry Guillory's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Sammy Salter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Warren Tilley in the 28th minute of the match. SAJUCH FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aurelio Wolff was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 73rd minute Warren Tilley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sammy Salter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
