The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 4th match minute, Westbrook FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tom Silver to maneuver through the defense. David Barnes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stacey Shaver in the 9th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Billy Dale in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck David Barnes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Billy Dale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Barnes having to interfere. 17 minutes into the match, Westbrook FC's goalkeeper David Barnes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dustin Connolly. 18 minutes into the game, Billy Dale cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. David Barnes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Stacey Shaver received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. David Barnes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 34th minute Francis Redmond shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Barnes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Francis Redmond charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Francis Redmond the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Billy Dale was extremely unlucky when he, in the 37th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 41st minute, Leonard Marquez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Billy Dale in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg David Barnes saved Westbrook FC from getting behind. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The wind increased when Jeffrey Goldberg made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Dallas Cowboys's Stacey Shaver got a free kick in the 63rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Billy Dale in the 66th minute of play forced Westbrook FC's goalkeeper David Barnes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Francis Redmond struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. David Barnes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dallas Cowboys. In the 69th minute, Stacey Shaver made a precise shot to the right of David Barnes. Westbrook FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Francis Redmond sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dustin Connolly recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 82nd minute, Billy Dale made a precise shot to the right of David Barnes. Westbrook FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. Dustin Connolly sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Westbrook FC's David Barnes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Billy Dale in the 88th minute of play. 95 minutes into the match, Billy Dale had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of David Barnes. Westbrook FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Billy Dale was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. When the referee ended the match the Dallas Cowboys players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
