Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Wyckoff's Milton Higgins started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ramon Aldrich made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacob Dougherty in the 3rd minute of play. Perry Dubose made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Milton Higgins in the 9th minute of play. 10 minutes into the match, Bell Gardens AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Donny Vela came free, but Perry Dubose reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Milton Higgins came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Wyckoff fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Milton Higgins couldn't finish the play. Nick Duncan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Perry Dubose made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Milton Higgins kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Perry Dubose. That made the score 1-0 in the 19 minute of play. Trenton Shepard kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Ramon Aldrich showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lyle Landreth, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. When Donny Vela came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Wyckoff fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Donny Vela couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Milton Higgins's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Perry Dubose was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. When Tommie Zavala fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bell Gardens AFC's protests and gave Tommie Zavala a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Bell Gardens AFC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Tommie Zavala hit a great ball. Trenton Shepard could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Perry Dubose made a huge save. Perry Dubose made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Trenton Shepard in the 38th minute of play. Nick Duncan might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Perry Dubose. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nick Duncan ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 46th minute, Nick Duncan made a precise shot to the right of Perry Dubose. Bell Gardens AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jacob Dougherty stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Trenton Shepard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 62 minutes into the match, Bell Gardens AFC's Tristan Baggett sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ramon Aldrich narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ramon Aldrich took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacob Dougherty, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Milton Higgins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 69 minutes of play Bell Gardens AFC's Tommie Zavala was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 72nd minute of the match Trenton Shepard sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Perry Dubose skillfully saved the ball. Perry Dubose showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donny Vela in the 73rd minute of the match. Milton Higgins might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Perry Dubose. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Milton Higgins ran back to his position shaking his head. Ramon Aldrich took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tristan Baggett, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 78th match minute, Bell Gardens AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tristan Baggett to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Trenton Shepard in the 81st minute of play forced Bell Gardens AFC's goalkeeper Perry Dubose to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Perry Dubose stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Donny Vela's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nick Duncan in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Perry Dubose prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bell Gardens AFC's Perry Dubose played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Milton Higgins in the 95th minute of play.
