Spectators: 7665 (Terracing: 5773, Seating: 1770, VIP seats: 122) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jeffrey Goldberg got the match started through his kick off. In the 5th minute, Matthew Shields hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Geraldo Aviles hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. A collision led to Westbrook FC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Rick Mathis hit a great ball. In the 19th minute, Rafael Crenshaw got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 21 minutes, Jeffrey Goldberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Westbrook FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jeffrey Goldberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 23rd minute Rafael Crenshaw shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Barnes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sergio Arellano hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Hobbs's Luis Gilmore got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Jeffrey Goldberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 33rd minute of the match, Luis Gilmore got a very nice opportunity to score, but David Barnes was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 34 minutes into the match, Hobbs's Rafael Crenshaw sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that David Barnes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Connor Ogden hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Jeffrey Goldberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rafael Crenshaw was the one to do the kick off. After 53 minutes, Luis Gilmore made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Westbrook FC's David Barnes tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 56th minute, Luis Gilmore made a precise shot to the right of David Barnes. Westbrook FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. 3-0 became the score in the 62nd minute when Luis Gilmore elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 73 minutes into the match, Westbrook FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Gilmore came free, but David Barnes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luis Gilmore sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Westbrook FC's zone, Rafael Crenshaw stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. David Barnes came out of the goal and Rafael Crenshaw tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee blew the final whistle, Hobbs could leave the field as winners, despite Westbrook FC having more of the ball for most of the match.
