The Wyckoff fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Ramon Aldrich made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Genaro Pepper in the 14th minute of play. Genaro Pepper struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Ramon Aldrich didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Willow Oak. The supporters of Willow Oak booed when Wyckoff was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilberto Knutson didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ron Huff got free with Ramon Aldrich in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 22ndth minute of the game Riley Corbin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Willow Oak's Paul Floyd was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Paul Floyd showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Trenton Shepard, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Wyckoff's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Rico Suggs ran over to the corner to take the kick. When Mark Tran came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Willow Oak fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mark Tran couldn't finish the play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Genaro Pepper was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th minute Ron Huff shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramon Aldrich saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 60 minutes into the game, Ron Huff cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Ramon Aldrich was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Donny Vela fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paul Floyd having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Milton Higgins got free with Paul Floyd in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ramon Aldrich made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ron Huff in the 75th minute of play. 81 minutes into the match, Donny Vela had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Paul Floyd. Willow Oak's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Donny Vela was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Trenton Shepard could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Paul Floyd made a huge save. Ramon Aldrich showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Genaro Pepper in the 92nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geoffrey Stoner in the 95th minute of play forced Wyckoff's goalkeeper Ramon Aldrich to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Willow Oak were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Wyckoff for a fine match.
