Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Thurman Buddle hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. In the 15th match minute, Glenolden AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tad Tinsley to maneuver through the defense. Roger Hensley showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thurman Buddle in the 21st minute of the match. Fernando Karros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tobiasz Harendarski having to interfere. In the 27th minute, Colby May hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 30thth minute of the game Shaun Weller who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Glenolden AFC's Roger Hensley was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thurman Buddle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Roger Hensley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tad Tinsley to make the kick off. After some careless play in the Glenolden AFC defense, Shaun Weller kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Roger Hensley. The Glenolden AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Roger Hensley should have stopped the shot. When Thurman Buddle came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Chamberlayne fans jumped to their feet. After having played for 57 minutes, Shaun Weller managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chamberlayne's supporters crossed their fingers, but Shaun Weller was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Shaun Weller came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Chamberlayne fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Shaun Weller couldn't finish the play. The Glenolden AFC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Chamberlayne were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
