Bridge City's supporters rose to their feet, but Nathan Metz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Winston Mahoney breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nathan Metz scored 2-0 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Winston Mahoney, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Al Koehler got his second yellow card in the match during the 19th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 20th minute, Al Koehler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nathan Metz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Adolfo Beckman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Winston Mahoney. Porcupines's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adolfo Beckman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Winston Mahoney made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Randall Benitez in the 59th minute of play. In the 61st minute Armando Schafer suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. Adolfo Beckman struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Winston Mahoney didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bridge City. After 69 played minutes Porcupines got a freekick which was hit by Josef Ryder. Winston Mahoney came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Bridge City's Nathan Metz. But to his dismay, Nathan Metz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. If Adolfo Beckman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edgar Connolly sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee ended the match the Bridge City players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
