One of Chamberlayne:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Bound Brooks:s goal. Derick Little sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 18 minutes, Derick Little managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bound Brooks's supporters crossed their fingers, but Derick Little was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Derick Little managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bound Brooks's supporters rose to their feet, but Derick Little was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tobiasz Harendarski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Derick Little to strike the kick off in the second half. The tension between the Bound Brooks and the Chamberlayne players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Chamberlayne booed when Bound Brooks was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dominic Dillard didn't get a good kick on the ball. 75 minutes into the match, Chamberlayne's Thurman Buddle sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Douglas Marsh narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bound Brooks's Derick Little got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 87 played minutes Chamberlayne got a freekick which was hit by Shaun Weller. In the 88th match minute, Bound Brooks was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dominic Dillard to maneuver through the defense. Randell Holley charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Cyrus Patterson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bound Brooks played a much better game than Chamberlayne and deserved their victory. The Chamberlayne players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
