Shaun Weller struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Sidney Pelletier didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chamberlayne. Tobiasz Harendarski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chuck Thurman, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. After having played for 18 minutes, Shaun Weller managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chamberlayne's supporters crossed their fingers, but Shaun Weller was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Ari Titus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 25 minutes into the game, Chamberlayne's Shaun Weller nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sidney Pelletier made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 29th minute, Ari Titus got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tobiasz Harendarski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chuck Thurman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Shaun Weller came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Chamberlayne fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Shaun Weller couldn't finish the play. Shaun Weller received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Sidney Pelletier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 46th match minute, Chamberlayne was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Colby May to maneuver through the defense. Chuck Thurman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tobiasz Harendarski having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Chuck Thurman was the one to do the kick off. Chamberlayne's Tobiasz Harendarski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ari Titus in the 52nd minute of play. Sidney Pelletier stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Shaun Weller's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Thurman Buddle managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chamberlayne's supporters rose to their feet, but Thurman Buddle was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sidney Pelletier breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Shaun Weller sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. After a rather tough play, Pele Pelson FC's Tyrese Reeves got a free kick in the 63rd minute. 66 minutes into the match, Pele Pelson FC's goalkeeper Sidney Pelletier had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Thurman Buddle. Chuck Thurman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tobiasz Harendarski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. The supporters of Pele Pelson FC booed when Chamberlayne was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Colby May didn't get a good kick on the ball. Shaun Weller recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thurman Buddle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thurman Buddle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sidney Pelletier having to interfere. Thurman Buddle's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sidney Pelletier read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. Chamberlayne's Thurman Buddle got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tyrone Montoya during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Pele Pelson FC getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Tyrone Montoya hit a great ball. Thurman Buddle could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Sidney Pelletier made a huge save. In the 95th match minute, Chamberlayne was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thurman Buddle to maneuver through the defense. Dominique Young took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 96th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tobiasz Harendarski. Chamberlayne's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.
