Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Porcupines's Josef Ryder started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Davis Beach struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Roger Hensley didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Porcupines. After 7 played minutes Glenolden AFC got a freekick which was hit by Reggie Lay. An unexpectedly hard shot by Josef Ryder in the 9th minute of play forced Glenolden AFC's goalkeeper Roger Hensley to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roger Hensley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Josef Ryder in the 10th minute of play. Roger Hensley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Davis Beach in the 11th minute of play. After 13 minutes, Walter Hopkins mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Porcupines and the Glenolden AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Roger Hensley showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Josef Ryder, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Davis Beach received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Roger Hensley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roger Hensley took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armando Schafer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Davis Beach recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Glenolden AFC's Roger Hensley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Davis Beach in the 37th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

After 50 minutes of play, Porcupines's Davis Beach made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Roger Hensley was left in no man's land by his defense there! 56 minutes into the match, Porcupines's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Karros came free, but Winston Mahoney reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roger Hensley showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Josef Ryder in the 59th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Josef Ryder's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Roger Hensley was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. Davis Beach fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roger Hensley having to interfere. Davis Beach sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Josef Ryder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roger Hensley having to interfere. If Josef Ryder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Roger Hensley was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Josef Ryder showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 83 minute of play. Winston Mahoney came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Glenolden AFC's Tad Tinsley. But to his dismay, Tad Tinsley quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. When Tad Tinsley came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Glenolden AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tad Tinsley couldn't finish the play.
