Spectators: 7450 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 100) Gilbert Blanton started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Foster McFadden was extremely unlucky when he, in the 11th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 12 minutes into the game, MacArthur's Foster McFadden nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Del Macias made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 18th minute of the match Toby Fugate sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Del Macias skillfully saved the ball. 20 minutes into the match, MacArthur's goal looked a bit too open when Mitch Merritt came free, but Charlton Lopes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Del Macias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Foster McFadden in the 21st minute of the match. After 22 played minutes Skyline View got a freekick which was hit by Matthew Chung. After recieving a nice pass, MacArthur's Rosario Mullins tried to score from far away in the 23rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 28th minute, Skyline View's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Rosario Mullins fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Willie Solomon hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. If Foster McFadden had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rosario Mullins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Del Macias having to interfere. Del Macias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lorenzo Alvarez in the 40th minute of play. Del Macias didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rosario Mullins went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The wind increased when Foster McFadden made the kick off in the second half. Charlton Lopes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emery Stern in the 51st minute. Rosario Mullins sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Foster McFadden's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Del Macias was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. In the 61st minute, Rosario Mullins left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MacArthur fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Foster McFadden fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Del Macias having to interfere. 76 minutes into the match, Skyline View's goal looked a bit too open when Rosario Mullins came free, but Del Macias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 76 minutes into the match, Rosario Mullins had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Del Macias. Skyline View's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rosario Mullins was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. After having played for 79 minutes, Foster McFadden managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MacArthur's supporters crossed their fingers, but Foster McFadden was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Del Macias stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rosario Mullins's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. The supporters of MacArthur booed when Skyline View was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mitch Merritt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Del Macias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Foster McFadden in the 82nd minute of play. MacArthur's Lorenzo Alvarez got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Del Macias didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Foster McFadden went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. MacArthur had won after a very even match.
