FC VISELKA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Foster McFadden was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. MacArthur's Foster McFadden got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Rosario Mullins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marty Lundy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from John Kent in the 16th minute of play. Marty Lundy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Randall Tuttle in the 19th minute of the match. Marcos Wilkins sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcos Wilkins got free with Charlton Lopes in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marty Lundy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rosario Mullins, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rosario Mullins in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marty Lundy prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in FC VISELKA's zone, Foster McFadden stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marty Lundy came out of the goal and Foster McFadden tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Randall Tuttle in the 30th minute of play forced FC VISELKA's goalkeeper Marty Lundy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd minute, Junior Brewster hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 33 minutes of play, MacArthur's Rosario Mullins made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marty Lundy was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 36 minutes, Kristopher Gardner mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC VISELKA and the MacArthur players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 35 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FC VISELKA! Rosario Mullins shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. After a rather tough play, MacArthur's Randall Tuttle got a free kick in the 38th minute. MacArthur's Rosario Mullins got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Foster McFadden had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Randall Tuttle managed to get in a good position for a shot. MacArthur's supporters rose to their feet, but Randall Tuttle was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marty Lundy breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rosario Mullins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marty Lundy having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Foster McFadden in the 59th minute of play forced FC VISELKA's goalkeeper Marty Lundy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rosario Mullins scored 0-3 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marty Lundy, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 67th minute, Junior Brewster hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marty Lundy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rosario Mullins, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marty Lundy was a little too slow when Rosario Mullins got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 69th minute. The score was now 0-4. Marty Lundy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Foster McFadden in the 72nd minute of play. Randall Tuttle kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Marty Lundy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Foster McFadden, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. In the 77th minute, Randall Tuttle got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 79 minutes, Marcos Wilkins managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC VISELKA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcos Wilkins was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 85th minute, Foster McFadden hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rosario Mullinss short, quick shot in the 93rdth minute got Marty Lundy to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. MacArthur played a much better game than FC VISELKA and deserved their victory. The FC VISELKA players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
