Cyrus Patterson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Winston Mahoney having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cyrus Patterson in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Winston Mahoney prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Davis Beach's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Douglas Marsh read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. After having played for 47 minutes, Davis Beach managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Porcupines's supporters crossed their fingers, but Davis Beach was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Josef Ryder stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Porcupines's Winston Mahoney got control of the ball when Cyrus Patterson tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Josef Ryder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 64th minute, Josef Ryder left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Porcupines fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Douglas Marsh took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Josef Ryder, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 73 minutes into the game, Sebastian Minor was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bound Brooks's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Porcupines the free kick. Bound Brooks's Douglas Marsh played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Josef Ryder in the 95th minute of play. Erik Proctor kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Porcupines fans cheered their team off the field, for while Bound Brooks had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
