The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Markus Hester helped the player get up and apologised. Markus Hester kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. In the 6th minute Owosso FC were awarded a corner. Sebastian Valle went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Owosso FC's Sebastian Valle to fire away a dangerous shot which Duncan Miner despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Cedric Puckett fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rigoberto Howell having to interfere. After some careless play in the Port Carbon FC defense, Randolph Dawkins kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Duncan Miner. The Port Carbon FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Duncan Miner should have stopped the shot. In the 21st minute Terrence Calloway shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rigoberto Howell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cedric Puckett scored 1-1 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rigoberto Howell, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Randolph Dawkins might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Duncan Miner. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Randolph Dawkins ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 39th minute Moses Benoit shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Duncan Miner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Moses Benoit in the 41st minute of play forced Port Carbon FC's goalkeeper Duncan Miner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 46th minute, Owosso FC's Moses Benoit ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Duncan Miner. Duncan Miner yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Terrence Calloway to strike the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes of play Port Carbon FC's Markus Hester was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Port Carbon FC's Cedric Puckett got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Owosso FC getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Brice Cagle hit a great ball. In the 69th minute Moses Benoit shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Duncan Miner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Cedric Puckett had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cedric Puckett recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Johnny Sneed struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Rigoberto Howell didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Port Carbon FC. Randolph Dawkins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Duncan Miner having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Port Carbon FC's Ricardo Strong got a free kick in the 78th minute. Cedric Puckett fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rigoberto Howell having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, Moses Benoit put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Duncan Miner. 96 minutes into the match, Port Carbon FC's goal looked a bit too open when Moses Benoit came free, but Duncan Miner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
