After a rather tough play, Skyline View's Garry Hartley got a free kick in the 12th minute. When Ari Titus came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Pele Pelson FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ari Titus couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Garry Hartley during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 17th minute, Ari Titus left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pele Pelson FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 20th match minute, Skyline View was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Willie Solomon to maneuver through the defense. In the 20th minute Chuck Thurman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Del Macias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Gilbert Blanton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sidney Pelletier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilbert Blanton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A hard shot 26 in the game by Emery Stern from a close distance when the talented Sidney Pelletier managed to make a qualified save. Pele Pelson FC's players were relieved. 26 minutes into the game, Tyrone Montoya was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pele Pelson FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Skyline View the free kick. Tyrone Montoya kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Pele Pelson FC's Sidney Pelletier proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Pele Pelson FC from getting a goal against them. Chuck Thurman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Skyline View's goalkeeper Del Macias, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 56 played minutes Skyline View got a freekick which was hit by Mitch Merritt. After 57th play minutes Ari Titus shot 0-4, a short shot which went by Del Macias and just under the crossbar into goal. Mitch Merritt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sidney Pelletier having to interfere. Gilbert Blanton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Sidney Pelletier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Del Macias acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 69th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Adolfo Mooney. Emery Stern received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Sidney Pelletier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emery Stern recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Pele Pelson FC getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Tyrone Montoya hit a great ball. Skyline View's Emery Stern got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gilbert Blanton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Skyline View's Del Macias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chuck Thurman in the 84th minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, Skyline View's goalkeeper Del Macias had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ari Titus. Del Macias stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Chuck Thurman's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. After having played for 89 minutes, Mitch Merritt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Skyline View's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mitch Merritt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ari Titus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Del Macias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sidney Pelletier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilbert Blanton in the 96th minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Pele Pelson FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
