Rigoberto Howell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chuck Thurman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sidney Pelletier made an important save on a dangerous shot by Randolph Dawkins in the 23rd minute. In the 25th minute, Pele Pelson FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Randolph Dawkins fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. A collision led to Pele Pelson FC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Tyrese Reeves hit a great ball. With his leg Sidney Pelletier managed to avoid a goal in the 33rdth minute, when Owosso FC's Randolph Dawkins fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Sidney Pelletier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moses Benoit in the 42nd minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Chuck Thurman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sidney Pelletier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Moses Benoit in the 52nd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Randolph Dawkins in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sidney Pelletier saved Pele Pelson FC from getting behind. After 59 minutes of play, Owosso FC's Moses Benoit made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sidney Pelletier was left in no man's land by his defense there! Randolph Dawkins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sidney Pelletier having to interfere. Sidney Pelletier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moses Benoit in the 65th minute of play. Tyrese Reeves kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Pele Pelson FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 75th minute. Penalty! Brice Cagle kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ty Madsen during the 82nd minute. During the 89th minute of the match Ty Madsen completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Ty Madsen a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, Owosso FC's Ty Madsen got a free kick in the 90th minute. Rigoberto Howell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chuck Thurman, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Randolph Dawkins took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sidney Pelletier. Sidney Pelletier dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. Chuck Thurman hit a great freekick 98 minutes into the match. Owosso FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
