Darren Pulliam didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jeramy Numbers went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 10 minutes into the match, Manitou Springs FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jeramy Numbers came free, but Darren Pulliam reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Juan Sheffield took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donovan Washburn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 17th minute, Dirk Rudd hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 25th minute Donovan Washburn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Sheffield saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 26 minutes into the match, Manitou Springs FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jeramy Numbers came free, but Darren Pulliam reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Minnesota Macabre booed when Manitou Springs FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dirk Rudd didn't get a good kick on the ball. Minnesota Macabre's Juan Sheffield proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Minnesota Macabre from getting a goal against them. 33 minutes into the match, Minnesota Macabre's goalkeeper Juan Sheffield had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Xavier Mims. In the 35th minute Jeramy Numbers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Darren Pulliam saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Manitou Springs FC's Xavier Mims got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 45 minutes into the game, Isaiah Bennett cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Darren Pulliam was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Donovan Washburn to strike the kick off in the second half. Parker Kendrick received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Darren Pulliam tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Xavier Mims in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Juan Sheffield saved Minnesota Macabre from getting behind. Isaiah Bennett fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Darren Pulliam having to interfere. Jeramy Numbers was extremely unlucky when he, in the 70th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Benito Dalton hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. In the 75th minute, Hayden Maloney hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Xavier Mims sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Donovan Washburn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Minnesota Macabre's Denny Ritter got a free kick in the 84th minute. Isaiah Bennett received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Darren Pulliam tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Minnesota Macabre players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
