When the match had been going on for 6 minutes, Alfonsina Storni's Jose Riker got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Stevie Levy. Abraham Walsh showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geoffrey Stoddard in the 11th minute of the match. In the 11th match minute, Alfonsina Storni was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luciano Peralta to maneuver through the defense. In the 14th minute, Shannon Thorpe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Geoffrey Stoddard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abraham Walsh having to interfere. Alfonsina Storni's Abraham Walsh played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raphael Levine in the 18th minute of play. Benedict Pugh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abraham Walsh didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Raphael Levine went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. 25 minutes into the game, Raphael Levine cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Abraham Walsh was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Geoffrey Stoddard blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Abraham Walsh having to make a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Geoffrey Stoddard in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Abraham Walsh saved Alfonsina Storni from getting behind. Abraham Walsh took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from William Burns, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Raphael Levine had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Orion SC fans' excitement grew in the 37th match minute when Orion SC's Geoffrey Stoddard looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Roberto Wetzel hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Geoffrey Stoddard recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Geoffrey Stoddard made a kick off. The supporters of Alfonsina Storni booed when Orion SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. William Burns didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Alfonsina Storni getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Luciano Peralta hit a great ball. Geoffrey Stoddard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abraham Walsh having to interfere. Abraham Walsh made an important save on a dangerous shot by Raphael Levine in the 60th minute. In the 62nd minute, Geoffrey Stoddard got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 67 minutes into the match, Perry Small had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Abraham Walsh. Alfonsina Storni's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Perry Small was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-6. In the 74th match minute, Alfonsina Storni was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luciano Peralta to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Raphael Levine during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 77th match minute, Orion SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raphael Levine to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geoffrey Stoddard in the 78th minute of play forced Alfonsina Storni's goalkeeper Abraham Walsh to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 79 minutes into the game, Orion SC's Raphael Levine nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Abraham Walsh made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-7. In the 85th minute Geoffrey Stoddard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abraham Walsh saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Alfonsina Storni's zone, William Burns stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abraham Walsh came out of the goal and William Burns tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Geoffrey Stoddard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle sounded Orion SC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Alfonsina Storni.
