A wasted opportunity for Eastridge FC. Rob Austin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ulysses Proctor read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. Ulysses Proctor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ulysses Proctor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rob Austin in the 17th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Loki s Guards's zone, Scott Cegielski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ulysses Proctor came out of the goal and Scott Cegielski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Sergio Franks fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Loki s Guards's protests and gave Sergio Franks a yellow card for diving instead. After 28 played minutes Loki s Guards got a freekick which was hit by Sergio Franks. After 29 played minutes, Eastridge FC's Marshall Moon shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ulysses Proctor came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Eastridge FC reached it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Scott Cegielski in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ulysses Proctor prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 33rd minute, Garry Murillo made a precise shot to the right of Eusebio Stallings. Eastridge FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Rob Austin might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ulysses Proctor. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rob Austin ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Loki s Guards's zone, Rob Austin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ulysses Proctor came out of the goal and Rob Austin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rob Austin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulysses Proctor having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Eusebio Stallings showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Troy Samuel, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. If Denis Ratliff had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Troy Samuel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eusebio Stallings read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. Rob Austin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eusebio Stallings stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Garry Murillo's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. Eusebio Stallings didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Troy Samuel went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Troy Samuel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 87 minutes into the match, Eastridge FC's goal looked a bit too open when Garry Murillo came free, but Eusebio Stallings reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 87th minute, Emery Elias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Rob Austin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Many of Eastridge FC's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Eastridge FC may have spent more time on the ball, but Loki s Guards were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
