Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Lance Kilgore started the match with the kick off. When Lance Kilgore got free in front of the goal in the 6th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Theo Riker was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. The supporters of White Oak AFC booed when Blakes AC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martin Root didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 11th minute Lance Kilgore shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Theo Riker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 13 minutes, Kenny Dalton mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Blakes AC and the White Oak AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 13th match minute, Blakes AC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kenny Dalton to maneuver through the defense. In the 14th minute of the match Enoch Gallo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Benedict Chin skillfully saved the ball. Lance Kilgore fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Theo Riker having to interfere. Lance Kilgore sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lazaro Boston recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Benedict Chin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tony Rowell in the 31st minute of play. In the 32nd minute, Kenny Dalton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Tony Rowell came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the White Oak AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tony Rowell couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the White Oak AFC defense, Lazaro Boston kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Theo Riker. The White Oak AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Theo Riker should have stopped the shot. Theo Riker took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lance Kilgore, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 48th minute, Lance Kilgore got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tony Rowell made a kick off. 56 minutes into the match, Blakes AC's Lance Kilgore sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Theo Riker narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Lance Kilgore's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Theo Riker read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. Kenny Dalton hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Tony Rowell struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Benedict Chin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for White Oak AFC. Tony Rowell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benedict Chin having to interfere. In the 74th minute, Lance Kilgore got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Theo Riker showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lazaro Boston in the 81st minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Lazaro Boston managed to get in a good position for a shot. Blakes AC's supporters rose to their feet, but Lazaro Boston was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Theo Riker breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lance Kilgore in the 85th minute of play forced White Oak AFC's goalkeeper Theo Riker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benedict Chin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tony Rowell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 91st minute Tony Rowell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benedict Chin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tony Rowell in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benedict Chin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 97th minute Lazaro Boston shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Theo Riker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Blakes AC fans cheered their team off the field, for while White Oak AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
