The supporters of Century booed when Blakes AC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kenny Dalton didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Century's Devon Christopher tried to score from far away in the 4th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 6 minutes into the match, Century's Aldo Watson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benedict Chin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Emmitt Bledsoe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lazaro Boston in the 8th minute. Calvin Brunson kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. After 11 minutes, Wilbur Laird mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Blakes AC and the Century players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Blakes AC's Wilbur Laird got a free kick in the 11th minute. When Clint McNamara came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Century fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Clint McNamara couldn't finish the play. 21 minutes in the game, Lance Kilgore fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Emmitt Bledsoe having to interfere. Benedict Chin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clint McNamara, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Century's Emmitt Bledsoe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Century from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Blakes AC's zone, Aldo Watson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benedict Chin came out of the goal and Aldo Watson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aldo Watson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Benedict Chin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Lazaro Boston managed to get in a good position for a shot. Blakes AC's supporters rose to their feet, but Lazaro Boston was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emmitt Bledsoe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Benedict Chin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clint McNamara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

If Lazaro Boston had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Century's goalkeeper Emmitt Bledsoe, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 61 minutes into the match, Blakes AC's goal looked a bit too open when Aldo Watson came free, but Benedict Chin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cedric Davies kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Emmitt Bledsoe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lance Kilgore in the 63rd minute of the match. Clint McNamara was extremely unlucky when he, in the 66th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Century's Aldo Watson was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 68th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. 72 minutes into the match, Blakes AC's goal looked a bit too open when Aldo Watson came free, but Benedict Chin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Blakes AC's Lazaro Boston in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Century's goalie prevented a goal. Lance Kilgore struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Emmitt Bledsoe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Blakes AC. The supporters of Blakes AC booed when Century was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Calvin Brunson didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Lazaro Boston had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Century's Emmitt Bledsoe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lazaro Boston in the 95th minute of play. The Century supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Century would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
