The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Titus Brandt showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Lance Kilgore fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Titus Brandt having to interfere. Basil Moon kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Titus Brandt stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lance Kilgore's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lazaro Boston in the 27th minute of play forced Brookhaven's goalkeeper Titus Brandt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lazaro Boston struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Titus Brandt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Blakes AC. Lance Kilgore sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Blakes AC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Renato Altman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benedict Chin having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Philip Ezell during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Philip Ezell hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Blakes AC were awarded a corner in the 70th minute after Brookhaven's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Alejandro Hope took the corner. The corner ended in Alejandro Hope almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Brookhaven's Titus Brandt did a great save. Lazaro Boston who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 75thth minute tested the skills of Titus Brandt when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Lance Kilgore came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Blakes AC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lance Kilgore couldn't finish the play. Martin Root's late challenge caught a Brookhaven's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Martin Root helped the player get up and apologised. After 77 played minutes Blakes AC got a freekick which was hit by Martin Root. Renato Altman hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Brookhaven defense, Lazaro Boston kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Titus Brandt. The Brookhaven fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Titus Brandt should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Lazaro Boston managed to get in a good position for a shot. Blakes AC's supporters rose to their feet, but Lazaro Boston was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Titus Brandt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 87th minute Lance Kilgore shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Titus Brandt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lazaro Boston received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Titus Brandt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Brookhaven's zone, Lance Kilgore stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Titus Brandt came out of the goal and Lance Kilgore tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Blakes AC's Lazaro Boston got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Blakes AC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
