The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Royce Blount hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. In the 5thth minute of the game Grady Barlow who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tamarac FC's Ted Galindo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Radical Centrist Academy's Grady Barlow got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 8th minute Blaine Boyles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ted Galindo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Grady Barlow came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Radical Centrist Academy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Grady Barlow couldn't finish the play. Blaine Boyles might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ted Galindo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Blaine Boyles ran back to his position shaking his head. Ted Galindo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Grady Barlow, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by John Potts during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. John Potts kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. In the 19th minute Blaine Boyles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ted Galindo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ted Galindo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Blaine Boyles in the 21st minute of play. Ted Galindo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Grady Barlow, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. After having played for 26 minutes, John Potts managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tamarac FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but John Potts was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Blaine Boyles in the 29th minute of play forced Tamarac FC's goalkeeper Ted Galindo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zane Lovett received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Leif Armenta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 37 minutes into the game, Giuseppe Parsons recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Leif Armenta. Giuseppe Parsons showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. The supporters of Tamarac FC booed when Radical Centrist Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonardo Flood didn't get a good kick on the ball. Blaine Boyles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Ted Galindo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Radical Centrist Academy's Blaine Boyles got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zane Lovett stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Tamarac FC's John Potts got a free kick in the 51st minute. Zane Lovett scored 2-0 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leif Armenta, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Grady Barlow had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 61st minute, Tamarac FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Blaine Boyles fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Through an outstanding action, after 62 minutes, Ted Galindo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. With his leg Ted Galindo managed to avoid a goal in the 71stth minute, when Radical Centrist Academy's Blaine Boyles fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 76 minutes into the match, Grady Barlow dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ted Galindo, 2-1. Ted Galindo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Grady Barlow showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 79 minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Zane Lovett managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tamarac FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Zane Lovett was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leif Armenta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Giuseppe Parsons fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leif Armenta having to interfere. John Potts fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leif Armenta having to interfere. After some careless play in the Radical Centrist Academy defense, Zane Lovett kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leif Armenta. The Radical Centrist Academy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leif Armenta should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giuseppe Parsons in the 94th minute of play forced Radical Centrist Academy's goalkeeper Leif Armenta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zane Lovett fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leif Armenta having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Radical Centrist Academy's zone, Giuseppe Parsons stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leif Armenta came out of the goal and Giuseppe Parsons tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Tamarac FC had played much better football throughout.
