Trevor Bryant was a little too slow when Rhett Agostino got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 15th minute. The score was now 2-0. Trevor Bryant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rhett Agostino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Colby Noble sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Byron Russ had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Dania's zone, Dirk Libby stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Trevor Bryant came out of the goal and Dirk Libby tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Byron Russ sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Saul Tidwell didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Colby Noble went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. If Colby Noble had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wafflemen FC's Saul Tidwell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Colby Noble in the 42nd minute of play. Colby Noble took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Saul Tidwell. Saul Tidwell dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rhett Agostino stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, Dania was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thanh Schafer to maneuver through the defense. Trevor Bryant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rhett Agostino in the 54th minute of the match. Saul Tidwell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Byron Russ in the 56th minute of play. Darius Martin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saul Tidwell having to interfere. Bryan Hammons's late challenge caught a Dania's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bryan Hammons helped the player get up and apologised. Bryan Hammons kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Dania's Saul Tidwell threw himself towards the right post 66 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Byron Russ, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Saul Tidwell came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Dania's Byron Russ. But to his dismay, Byron Russ quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. In the 70th minute Byron Russ shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saul Tidwell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Colby Noble got free with Saul Tidwell in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Saul Tidwell made an important save on a dangerous shot by Colby Noble in the 77th minute. Byron Russ recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dirk Libby in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Trevor Bryant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 84th minute, Rhett Agostino left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Wafflemen FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3. Rhett Agostino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
