Spectators: 7680 (Terracing: 5761, Seating: 1766, VIP seats: 153) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Zane Lovett started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute Nathaniel Babcock shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ted Galindo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Rio Grande do Sul Macaws booed when Tamarac FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Giuseppe Parsons didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Tamarac FC's Del Stout got a free kick in the 15th minute. Evan Todd, 15 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 20 minutes into the match, Tamarac FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nathaniel Babcock came free, but Ted Galindo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ted Galindo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Garrett Conway, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. If Nathaniel Babcock had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ted Galindo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nathaniel Babcock, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rio Grande do Sul Macaws's Nathaniel Babcock got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Zane Lovett had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rio Grande do Sul Macaws's goalkeeper Dean Aldrich, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 46th minute, Nathaniel Babcock got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nathaniel Babcock to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Nathaniel Babcock got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 65th minute, Rio Grande do Sul Macaws's Garrett Conway dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. In the 72nd minute of the match, Garrett Conway got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ted Galindo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Garrett Conway might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ted Galindo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Garrett Conway ran back to his position shaking his head. Giuseppe Parsons's late challenge caught a Rio Grande do Sul Macaws's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Giuseppe Parsons helped the player get up and apologised. Dean Aldrich made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giuseppe Parsons in the 85th minute of play. Ted Galindo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Garrett Conway in the 93rd minute. 95 minutes into the match, Tamarac FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nathaniel Babcock came free, but Ted Galindo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
