An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramon Huggins in the 23rd minute of play forced Mercer's goalkeeper Bryan Daley to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 35 minutes of play Citizen Fc's Levi Lee was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Citizen Fc getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Levi Lee hit a great ball. Darin Dominguez struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Walker Tolbert didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mercer. Roger Lucas received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Bryan Daley came out and tried to block the shot, but Roger Lucas slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 94th minute.
